1. What made you decide to make a change in your health? I had been overweight for as long as I can remember.  I was tired of not having the energy to play with my kids. I was wanting to get out of the plus size department and look good and feel good about myself. Being a nurse, I was well aware that being overweight I was at a high risk for hypertension & diabetes.  I wanted to learn how to become healthy & stay healthy.  I had tried many other programs but none taught me to eat grocery store food and exercise as a lifestyle change.
2. When did you first start to notice a change in your health? I can't really pinpoint the moment.  Exercise became something I wanted to do, not that I had to do very early in the program.

Stress is a condition that affects both the body and the mind. Today, we face different stress situations, whether it's positive or negative. Positive stress  stimulates motivation, while negative stress causes adverse responses. While under stress, the body's metabolism changes, causing our body's system to react.  Internal and external problems begin to develop: ulcers, skin problems, hives, anxiety, tension, hypertension, allergies, indigestion, constipation, high blood pressure, insomnia, and many other chronic conditions.
