Jennifer's Testimonial
1. What made you decide to make a change in your health? I had been overweight for as long as I can remember. I was tired of not having the energy to play with my kids. I was wanting to get out of the plus size department and look good and feel good about myself. Being a nurse, I was well aware that being overweight I was at a high risk for hypertension & diabetes. I wanted to learn how to become healthy & stay healthy. I had tried many other programs but none taught me to eat grocery store food and exercise as a lifestyle change.
2. When did you first start to notice a change in your health? I can't really pinpoint the moment. Exercise became something I wanted to do, not that I had to do very early in the program.
3. How did you feel after you had lost the weight? It is nice to be complimented on how much weight I have lost. I have had so much support from my family & friends to lose the weight it is amazing to actually be 3 sizes smaller & to continue to lose the weight to meet my ultimate goal. I feel so much better than I did before!

Massage for Stress Management
Stress is a condition that affects both the body and the mind. Today, we face different stress situations, whether it's positive or negative. Positive stress stimulates motivation, while negative stress causes adverse responses. While under stress, the body's metabolism changes, causing our body's system to react. Internal and external problems begin to develop: ulcers, skin problems, hives, anxiety, tension, hypertension, allergies, indigestion, constipation, high blood pressure, insomnia, and many other chronic conditions.
Individuals respond differently to the same stressful situations. For example, major
life changes, a new job, illness, or financial setback may be devastating to one person while another will be able to handle such events with less stress. Those individuals who have stressful life experiences should make an effort to balance their lives with some type of enjoyable recreation such as a hobby or special interest. A good balance of work, family and relaxation helps to combat stress...along with a healthy life style of good nutrition, adequate rest, regular exercise, and meditation.
Doctors often recommend massage for the relief of tension, anxiety, worry, and
anger, all causes of stress. A restful environment with relaxing background music
helps clients who are experiencing stress and for those who want to prevent stress
related illnesses. The goal is to induce complete mental and physical relaxation.
Clients often experience renewed energy and relief from stress for several days.

Nutrition & Massage Testimonial: Millie (age 80) from WDM, IA
I have always been aware of my health and the quality of food, which I eat. I also exercise daily plus walking at least three miles each day. Five years ago, I had major abdominal surgery; and three years ago I had a pacemaker implant and oblation of the heart. I have remained very active through the past five years; however, I gained some weight. It was time that I review my food intake and do something about the extra pounds. With the coaching and support of Kristin, I have reached my goal by counting the grams of fat, protein and carbohydrates that I take in each day, and being very aware of the nutritional value of the foods I eat. I lost 16 pounds over a period of about three months; and my health has greatly improved. Of course, I continue my exercises and walking.
Plus, I have received unbelievable results and relief through Kristin's massages & MSM. Over 20 years ago, I had a car accident that resulted in whiplash. For many years my neck was so painful that it hurt each time I turned my neck. In those years, I sought physical therapy treatments and numerous massages...but to no relief. After regular appointments with Kristin over the past months, my neck is pain free and healed!
I attribute the healing to Kristin's expert skill as a massage therapist. Kristin gives superior massages, plus she is genuinely concerned for her clientele's well-being.
Thank-you Kristin so very much, Millie
